A world in perspective
Earthboard is a free public economic-data explorer. Rotate the globe, open country windows, compare economies and export tables as CSV. The interactive dashboard offers English and Korean interfaces and covers 217 non-aggregate World Bank economies.

Sources and meaning
World Bank World Development Indicators supplies the annual country series. Inflation measures annual consumer-price change, not a cost-of-living level. GDP and GDP per capita use current US dollars, not purchasing-power parity. Unemployment is an ILO modeled estimate. Debt coverage is incomplete and refers to central government.
US Energy Information Administration supplies daily Brent and WTI spot prices in US dollars per barrel. These are observations, not futures prices or live trading quotes.
European Central Bank supplies daily reference rates expressed as currency units per euro. Country series, oil and exchange rates have independent observation dates.
Dates, gaps and comparisons
Every observation retains its original date. Collection time describes when Earthboard retrieved a snapshot; it is not the provider's publication date. Missing data stays missing. Exact-year comparisons never substitute another year. Latest observations can come from different years, especially for debt and equity returns. A collection failure preserves the last successful snapshot and is shown in the dashboard.
Attribution and reuse
World Bank data is subject to its terms and series-specific metadata. The included equity series metadata names S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC and specifies CC BY 4.0. Earthboard selects periods, converts formats and visualizes original values without changing the observations.
